The Principal may any time and without assigning reasons ask a parent to withdraw his/her son /daughter if in her / his opinion, such a course of action is considered necessary in the best interest of the School.
A parent desiring to withdraw his / her son / daughter may give the Principal at least two month's notice in writing. Transfer certificates, school leaving certificate, testimonials and examination certificates will not be issued until all School sessions dues are paid. A No Dues Certificate is to be obtained from the librarian.
Promotion will be granted on the basis of whole year's Performance, 50% weightage is given to the Annual Examination. 20% to monthly Class Work, and Classroom participation. A student must secure at least 40% marks in each subject to qualify for promotion. It a student fails in the same class for two consecutive years, he will not be allowed to continue in the School.
A pupil receives an all round education by adopting a carefully planned syllabus ensuring physical, mental and social development. Through extensive project work student develop a sense of satisfaction and achievement, co-curricular activities are conducted effectively under the House system and cultural societies to inculcate creativity and leadership quality, Education imparted at the School becomes functional, interactive, enjoyable.
Parents / Guardians are requested to co-operate with the School authorities to ensure that their wards attend school regularly. Students must fulfill 75% - 80% of attendance otherwise promotion will be withheld.
If a student remains absent without leave letter for more than 10 days, his name will be struck off the rolls and readmission fees shall be charged.
The parent/Guardian is requested to carry the identity card of his/her ward issued by the School, whenever he/she visits the School for any matter concerning the boy, or to pick him up. This card is to be shown to the School gatekeeper before entering the School premises and also the School bus conductor when receiving the boy at the collection point. Loss of identity card must be reported to the Principal of the School immediately.

Violation of School discipline and disregard of school rules and other misbehavior particularly cheating in test and Examinations may be punished with stern measures including expulsion from the School. It is to be noted that the school discipline is the most vital part of training at Miranda High School.
If a boy is found weak in a particular subject special Tutorial classes may sometimes be arranged for him on application to the Principal / Director. Tutorials otherwise without the permission or knowledge of the School is strongly discouraged.
Parent-teacher Meetings are arranged periodically after the assessment Tests and answer scripts are shown to discuss the total performance of their wards.

Student's counselling is done as and when required by the Director & Principal.
